Hello world!

LGBT Ministry is an open and affirming blog.

The mission of LGBT Ministry is simple. I seek to give inspiration and spiritual comfort to those in the LGBT community in need. As a transgender female myself, and a Christian and Taoist, I see no legislative, moral, ethical, or Biblical reason or Scriptural justification for excluding gays, lesbians, bi-sexual, or transgender persons from worshiping, praising, or seeking the comfort of whichever faith one subscribes to.

This ministry believes that all should be welcome in houses of worship and tables of Holy Communion. I believe as a Christian anyway, that Jesus would never and has never turned anyone away from His message or His fellowship but Satan.  This ministry also believes that you do not have to compromise your true self in order to give praise, seek spiritual guidance, or to worship.  I believe true Christianity is based on love of God with all one’s heart, soul, and mind and the love of your neighbor as you would wish to be loved. Love is the dominant force here.  Love and the willingness to forgive others as you would want to be forgiven.

This is a simple, humble blog ministry.  Each opportunity I have to provide a message or verse to meditate upon, I hope you will join me and spread the Good Word to others in the LGBT community and let them know, there is indeed a good place for all believers in the eyes of God and His son, Jesus Christ.
