On the Subject of Forgiveness

“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the thankful and to the evil.  Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.  Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:…”

Luke 6:35-38 — The Bible Promise Book

Reflection:

Heap coals on the heads of your enemies and haters by “killing them with kindness”.  Take the moral high ground and don’t stoop so low as to play by their tactics.  Be kind, show kindness, and forgive them for they know not what they do for their immortal souls.  Be the better person by doing the right thing and walk away if you can– or forgive them.  Have courage and be strong.  Your rewards will be in heaven.  God looks out for those that look out for others.
