Ephesians 4:2-7

Ephesians 4:2-7  New Living Translation (NLT)

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.

There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
one God and Father of all,
who is over all, in all, and living through all.

However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ.

Simple instructions here:  Be humble, be gentle, be patient. Show love by being tolerant. Preserve the unity between you and the Holy Spirit and between you and the church and those around you. There is one body of humanity, one Holy Spirit, one God, one faith in that higher power, one baptism for the purification and cleansing of the soul.

Equally important and what seems most relevant to the LGBT community is this:  Each of us has received a special gift by God and by Christ that makes us uniquely special.  Each of us has a gift that is unique to us and it comes from God and nothing can take that away from us.
