Muslims Defend Christians in Attack in Kenya

Muslims Defend Christians in Kenyan Attack

Again more proof that not “all Muslims are terrorists”.  The only way for the myth of Muslim terror and Muslim-Christian animosity  to die is for people to wake up and pay attention to the acts of compassion and kindness that both Muslims and Christians exhibit towards each other.  People have to understand that underneath the trappings of labels and denominations is our common sense of shared humanity.

And these examples can also be found among the LGBT community of faith and the non-LGBT communities of faith!  Why do we reduce or conflate or make these broad stroke generalizations about Christians and the LGBT community — or Muslims?  Not every gay, lesbian, transgender, or bisexual person is a walking over-sexualized stereotype bent on spending their every living moment being your personal nightmare.  Not every Muslim is some rabid, foaming at the mouth, gun toting lunatic determined to destroy entire populations of people in the hopes of spending all eternity in heaven fornicating with countless virgins.  Not every Christian wakes up each day and schemes to kill a gay person or vandalize their home or strip them of their human, civil, or natural rights.

People need to see more reality and a lot less of the media spinning and re-writing reality so suit a political party’s delusion filled fantasy version of reality.
