July 24th, 2016 — Thoughts of the Day

Through God, all things are possible. Love is possible. Non-violence is possible. Peace is possible. Shelter is possible. Safety and security is possible. Rest from a long and weary day is possible.

Those that do God’s work make these things possible too. If you believe in God and believe God has gifted you, ask yourself:

Do you make love possible? Do you abstain from violence? Do you offer peace? Do you make peace? Do you offer peace? Do you provide shelter for others in need? Do you contribute to sheltering those that are without? Do you provide safety and security not just for you and your family and loved ones, but for others as well? Do you provide rest for the weary?

Through God, all things are possible. With God on your side, providing you strength and the gifts of a mind, a heart, a body, and creativity and ingenuity, what limits you from providing and sharing love, peace, rest, security, and shelter?

And for those that feel they lack strength, love within, rest within, shelter… for those that feel worthless or empty inside or lost…. feeling like you have nothing to offer and nothing for yourself… consider:

The Lord is your shelter, your strength, your path to peace and rest. The Lord is the light to guide you out of darkness. The Lord is forgiving, merciful, powerful, compassionate, and patient. The Lord will uplift you because you are precious and worthy in His sight.

In God, all things are possible. It is possible for you to be loved, protected, given rest, and given security.

It is possible for you to make a difference in the lives of others just as God can make a difference in your own life.
